A highly detailed painting at this size does take time. (Frequently over 40 hours).
Prices for this size are in the range of EUR 400-800 (depending on the amount of work involved).
MINIATURES.
My current book illustration commission is for miniatures at sizes less than 7"x5".
Although small, these contain the same attention to detail and finish as the 'full size' work. Miniatures can be commissioned for EUR100 - EUR300.
OTHER SIZES.
It of course possible to work to whatever size you require.
