This handmade book has a front cover made of three layers of board, (excluding the corner details) refinished with papier mache, handpainted and gloss varnished. I created an effective binding using artists canvas. The pages are printed on double-sided glossy paper, and seperated with leaves of tissue paper. This prototype acted as a gift voucher for a free commission, and was given as a prize in a charity fundraising event. (In aid of the Jack & Jill Children's Foundation and the Capuchin Day Centre). The contents of the book summarised the activities of the two charities, explained how to commission a painting, provided background information, and showed examples of previous work.
